Christina Kenny
FOUNDER and president
Christina holds a PhD from the Australian National University.
As a part of her PhD research, she strived to find ways to design and deliver human rights based programs to Kenyan women in ways that are sustainable and community driven. Her research built on existing, locally grounded programs, and to support the women to achieve their long-term goals, like increasing women’s access to public health services; sustained access to education; and participation and representation in elections.
Lang Hames
secretary
Australian but also a long-time Silicon Valley resident, Lang first became involved in Pambanisha through the biscuit drives.
Luisa Mockler
treasurer
Luisa and Christina were law school classmates. She followed Christina’s subsequent PhD research with keen interest and began purchasing biscuits to help with the costs of the school fees.
Wanting to become more involved in the growing charity and residing in San Francisco, she readily agreed to become the treasurer of Pambanisha’s US charitable arm.
